This picture of the Control Tower and ATC Centre on Gan was taken in 1960.  Across the runway in the background can be seen the CCS/Receiver station and its Aerial Farm.  Two of the Fire Station buildings are shown to the right of the picture in the foreground.  Recent rains have caused the flooding shown in this picture and not by the fire section lads practising with their hoses.
